Chris Pratt as Mario
Plumber Mario is an Italian-American who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. When Bowser’s army captures Luigi, he embarks on a mission through the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue his younger brother.
Pratt gained notoriety after appearing on The WB’s Everwood and becoming Andy Dwyer on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, which aired from 2009 to 2015. Pratt played Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014 and he later appeared in four further Marvel films. He also appeared in the Jurassic World films from 2015 to 22 as Owen Grady.
Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach
Princess Peach, the monarch of the Mushroom Kingdom, serves as Mario’s teacher, mentor, and love interest. She was nurtured by the local Toad population since she was a little child and has lived in the Mushroom Kingdom all her life. Before appearing in Torn and its sequel, Glass, Taylor-Joy had roles in the horror films The Witch and The Witch.
Her other prominent film roles include those in Amsterdam, The Northman, The Menu, Last Night in Soho, and The Northman. In addition, Taylor-Joy played Beth Harmon in the Netflix miniseries The Queen’s Gambit, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Charlie Day as Luigi
Mario’s shy younger brother and business associate is Luigi. When Mario is taken prisoner by Bowser and his army, he embarks on a rescue attempt for Luigi. The longest-running comedy series on FX, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which Day also executive produces, is where he is best known for his role as Charlie Kelly.
The day has made other animated films before The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He has previously provided the voices for characters in The Lego Movie series and Monsters University. Day will make his directing debut in a feature-length movie in May 2023 with Fool’s Paradise, which he also authored and stars in.
Jack Black as Bowser

Charles Martinet as Mario and Luigi’s Father/ Giuseppe
In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Martinet plays two characters. He provides the voices for Giuseppe, a citizen of Brooklyn, and Mario and Luigi’s father. Martinet uses the same accent as the brothers do in the games to speak when he is Giuseppe.
Since 1991, the actor has primarily been recognized for his work as Mario and Luigi’s voices in the Super Mario video game franchise. Additionally, he provided voices for Magenta in the video game Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero from 2021 and Parthurnaax in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from 2011.
