What is Don Gullett’s Cause of Death?
In 1986, Gullett suffered a heart attack. He had been a cigarette smoker. He had suffered another heart attack in 1990 and had triple bypass cardiac surgery in June of that year. Gullett died on February 14, 2024, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 73.

Don Gullett’s passing will shake up the MLB, but especially the Reds. For a very long period, he was a highly successful and unique member of their club. Although the squad has sent their sympathies to friends and family, it is unknown whether they will wear any patches or do anything else to commemorate his loss throughout the season.

He was remembered as one of the most successful players in Reds and Yankees history, as well as one of the greatest pitchers of his time. In addition, he was a loving husband, father and grandpa who was invested in his community and family. On February 14, 2024, he passed away, leaving a remarkable and accomplished legacy.
