On June 14, 2000, Reese Michael Hendershot was born in Tipton. He created enduring memories at Tri-Central High School and his lifelong friendships leaving a lasting impression on his formative years. Reese started working for the Howard County Maintenance Department after finishing school.
All those who worked with him could see how committed and diligent he was and he quickly integrated into the group. He died on July 13, 2023, barely one month after celebrating his 23rd birthday.

His friends were welcome to visit with the family at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo From 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023. On Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 am, Pastor Keith Treadway officiated at his funeral ceremony at Bible Baptist Church, 2635 S. Dixon Road, Kokomo.

Did Reese Hendershot Die in an Accident?
Some social media websites claim that a Kokomo, Indiana, man died after crashing his motorcycle into a Jeep on State Road 26 late on Thursday, July 13, 2023 night and the man is identified as Reese Hendershot.
He struck the Jeep while operating a 2014 Harley Davidson westbound on State Road 26 at roughly 11:30 p.m. The collision happened not far from the intersection of Council Ring Boulevard and State Route 26.
The police believe that Hendershot went into the middle lane of traffic where approaching cars were moving before colliding with the Jeep in an effort to avoid hitting another vehicle.
After being damaged in the collision with the Harley Davidson motorcycle, a Dodge Caravan appears to have struck the Jeep from behind. The second impact sent the Jeep spinning out of control and pushed Hendershot and his motorcycle to the northern side of the road.
