Joe Thomas, the oldest, is the oldest of his three brothers. He went to King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford. After that, he got his degree from Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge. He went to Pembroke College and earned a 2:1 degree in History in 2006.

Joe Thomas Career
Footlights, the Cambridge theatrical group, introduced Joe Thomas to acting. Duncan Barrett’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival production of “All’s Well That Ends Well” featured him and several Cambridge undergraduates. At Footlights, he met Pembroke graduate Jonny Sweet.
The pair performed “The Jonny and Joe Show” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Both he and Simon Bird were cast in “The Inbetweeners” at Footlights. The Inbetweeners gave Joe Thomas his big break in 2008. till 2010. “The Inbetweeners Movie” (2011) and “The Inbetweeners 2” (2014) followed the series’ success. He and Sweet authored “Chickens,” a 2011 satire about three World War I draft dodgers.
Chickens debuted in 2011 with a complete series order. He played Kingsley Owen in “Fresh Meat” in 2011. till 2016. In 2011, he played a math instructor in “Threesome’s” second season. “The Dark Universe” cast him in 2016. He and “The Inbetweeners” co-star James Buckley starred in “White Gold” in 2017. He co-wrote White Gold’s second season. 2018’s “The Festival” featured him.
