What is Gustavo Badell Cause of Death?
Badell passed away when he was 50 years old. His cause of death has not been formally determined as of yet. However, there are a lot of online rumors that have emerged but we have to wait for official confirmation.
Note: However, as his family is grieving the loss and appears to be seeking seclusion, everyone is kindly requested not to make assumptions at this difficult time.
Badell was raised in Puerto Rico before relocating to Venezuela when he was about 22 years old. At the age of fifteen, he started weightlifting to get bigger for boxing. Gustavo developed muscle very quickly and at the age of 19, he competed in and won the 1991 Junior Caribbean Bodybuilding Championships, his first bodybuilding competition.
He won the 1997 Caribbean Championships, which allowed him to enter the professional ranks after six years of weight training. When he participated in the Grand Prix of Germany in 1998, it was his first time competing for the International Federation of Body Builders.
In 1999, he participated in the International Federation of Bodybuilders Night of Champions (now known as the New York Pro) placing 14th overall. He finished 18th in his first Ironman Pro Invitational in 2000. In 2002, when he made his first Mr. Olympia appearance, he placed 24th.
In 2004, he competed in his first Arnold Classic, finishing seventh. Up until 2003, his professional finishes were underwhelming. In part because of assistance from fellow professional bodybuilder Milos Sarcev, he then began finishing higher.
Along with being on the cover of Flex magazine, Badell has been featured in numerous fitness and magazine pieces. He has been featured in a number of MuscleTech commercials, usually promoting the weight-gain supplements Masstech and Nitrotech Hardcore.
