The Five Nights at Freddy’s trailer was accidentally posted to Twitter before being removed. Even though the film had a big watermark meant for internal usage only to prevent leaks, it was leaked on Twitter in two parts.
The tweets have been deleted, so it’s unclear whether or not the trailer was a draft. Fans will have to wait a little longer to watch the trailer, but it won’t be too long until it officially drops because the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie is scheduled to come out on October 27, 2023, just in time for Halloween.
Even though production on the FNAF movie didn’t begin until February 2023, Blumhouse CEO Jason Blum assured fans on Twitter that they would be able to see the finished product by the end of the year.
The horror atmosphere of Five Nights at Freddy’s and the game’s frequent usage of jump scares have made it a fan favorite. The series, which takes place at a kid-friendly restaurant like Chuck-E-Cheese, lends itself well to the big screen because of the presence of mechanical puppets that come to life after dark.
