Taylor Swift’s longtime friend Abigail Anderson whose name was mentioned in “Fifteen” got married to Charles Berard over the weekend. The bride exchanged vows with her fiancé while wearing an off-shoulder white gown and an updo with her trademark red curls.
TikToker Danae Hays and artist itsjustrand attended the wedding and played during the newlyweds’ first dance. Although the pop star was a bridesmaid at Abigail’s 2017 nuptials to photographer Matt Lucier, it is unknown if Taylor was present.
Ten months after Abigail revealed her engagement, they got married. Abigail referred to Charles as “my man, my life” in an Instagram post from November 2021 where she shared images of their romantic proposal at dusk on top of a cliff. At the time, she also said, “This happiness.”

Abigail is one of Taylor’s longest friends and closest confidants, as Swifties are all too familiar with. She was even mentioned by name in the singer’s 2008 hit song “Fifteen” as the “redhead” Taylor sat next to on her first day of class.
“And before you know it, you’re best buddies,” Taylor crooned in the song. They are making fun of the other girls and saying that they are so cool. Since their disastrous encounter, Abigail has remained a constant in Taylor’s team.
Abigail attended a star-studded party in New York City to celebrate Taylor’s 30th birthday alongside Gigi Hadid and Martha Hunt. On December 15, she posted a photo from the event, writing, “Thir-tay never looked so good,” and added, “We jingled ALL the way.”

When Taylor’s seventh studio album, Lover was released that same year, Abigail also had nothing but kind words to say. On August 23, Abigail posted a picture of the album’s cover on Instagram. She captioned, “15 years of knowing you and watching you grow, @taylorswift. Congrats, buddy.”
