As actor Jamie Foxx continues to recover from a “medical complication,” his loved ones continue to inform the public of his status. Foxx’s coworker on “All-Star Weekend,” Natasha Blasick, has opened up about the actor revealing that she spoke to a close friend about his hospitalization.
“I was texting him, and just yesterday I talked to his friend, who’s … really in touch with him. I was … really freaking out [with] all of the news that he’s getting worse,” Blasick told Entertainment Tonight.
“I texted [his friend], and he was like, ‘No, no, no, he’s recovering.'” So it was a great relief to learn that he was doing better.
“It’s really crazy,” she said. All we have is our physical wellbeing. Our daily lives are terrifying. Very little has been shared about Foxx’s health, but in a recent interview, Hart updated his followers.
He added:
“To my knowledge, there is a lot of progression. My love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He’s needed. He’s necessary. I know that he knows that. … I know that he feels that, because there’s been an outcry, an outpour of support in this regard, so I can only hope that it continues.”
Charlie Mack, aka Charles E. Alston, another buddy of Foxx’s, posted a message on Instagram asking fans to pray for the actor.
Please, always remember to pray for and think about our deeply loved and cared-for brother @iamjamiefoxx. The bros need you to return. “As I always say, a champion isn’t the one who wins; it’s the one who faces adversity and emerges victorious,” he said.
In the same vein, Martin Lawrence recently told about Foxx:
“Extra” last month, “I hear he’s doing better. … My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers, but a good person.”
Foxx finally opened up about his April hospitalization due to a “medical complication” earlier this week.
Thank you for all the support!!! Feeling grateful,” he posted on Instagram.
He also expressed appreciation to Nick Cannon for hosting “Beat Shazam” on FOX in his absence. Foxx has been replaced on the show by Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne. According to the show’s Instagram, Cannon will be a guest host this season, while Osbourne will take over DJ duties from Foxx’s daughter Corinne.
