Lockwood & Co is an upcoming supernatural thriller series on the pipeline for release this year on Netflix. The series will feature a young cast, and a group of actors, and could prove to be one of the upcoming big Netflix Originals.

The series will be adapted from the young adult novels of the same name written by Jonathan Stroud.
Lockwood & Co will be produced under the banner name of Complete Fiction, for the unversed, this is the same studio that produced Edgar Wright’s Last Night, also the forthcoming Attack the Block follow-up.

According to reports, the series is currently in post-production, but there is no official confirmation about the premiere date of the series.

Lockwood & Co Storyline
The series follows young teenage ghost hunters dipping into the lanes of London, involved in a fatal battle with the spirits of the night.
Among the several adult agencies, a small start-up excels among all of these and the name of that start-up is Lockwood & Co, which is being run by a group of teenagers named Anthony Lockwood, Lucy Carlysle, and George Karim.
All of them are without financial drive, and without the direction of adults, still determined to bring a change in history forever since they unfold a huge mystery.

Furthermore, according to reports it is being said that Lockwood & Co Season 1 will consist of 8 episodes with a runtime of approximately 60 minutes each episode
Which Lockwood & Co Books Is the Series Based on?
There are 5 Lockwood & Co books available in total. The show will begin with the adaptation of the first novel of the series titled The Screaming Staircase. Although, it is not known whether a number of books will be adapted in the first season.
