American former child actor Daniel Edward Sidney Lloyd was born on October 13, 1972. He is most known for playing Danny Torrance in the 1980 horror picture The Shining, which was adapted from Stephen King’s 1977 novel of the same name.
Because he can focus for long periods, he was chosen for the position. At the age of 10, Lloyd announced his retirement from acting following his well-received performance in The Shining.
He had previously starred as a child of G. Gordon Liddy in the television drama Will: G. Gordon Liddy. In Elizabethtown, Kentucky, at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, Lloyd was appointed associate professor of biology in 2004.
Lloyd’s first acting performance in 36 years cameoed in the Shining sequel Doctor Sleep in 2019 as a fan at a baseball game.
