Taylor Orlowski, an 18-year-old from Baden, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life in a car accident on December 24, 2023. The incident, which also claimed the life of Jonathan Tourney, occurred in McCandless and has deeply affected the Pine Richland School District and the community.
How Did Taylor Orlowski Die?
The accident took place near North Park, McCandless, around 3:20 am. An 18-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle on Irwin Road, leading to this heartbreaking incident.
Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, while Jonathan succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. Four other passengers were in the vehicle, two of whom were taken to the hospital in stable condition, while the remaining two were unharmed.

Taylor Orlowski: A Rising Star
Taylor, a recent graduate from Ambridge Area High School, was an accomplished equestrian. She was an integral part of Houdini Farms and had won numerous competitions in Equitation, Derbies, and Junior Hunter divisions.

Taylor Orlowski’s family has not raised a significant GoFundMe campaign. On the other hand, a GoFundMe campaign for Jonathan Tourney’s family has successfully raised significant funds.
This is particularly poignant considering the recent passing of Jonathan’s father. Additionally, Pine-Richland High School has extended its support by offering counseling services to help students cope with this loss.
