Todd Derek Jordan passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 54. He died after sustaining injuries from a fall in his home. Todd was a kind and giving person; he gave his organs to help and save other people.
Where Was Todd Jordan’s Funeral Services Held?
Services were held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at St. Paul’s on the Green, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk CT. The family welcomed visitors between 9:30 and 10:30 in the morning. The family said that the donations be made to the V Foundation in support of their Victory Over Cancer Campaign.
Every year, Todd watched Jimmy V’s well-known address and donated to the organization. He held it very close to his heart because his father, Derek, passed away from cancer in 1995.
After Todd’s death, Wayne Houchin posted on Facebook, “I’m going to say safe journey to, not just my cousin, more like my brother, my best mate, my mentor, my comedy partner and the cherished glue between the US and UK family.”

Todd was born in Stamford, Connecticut on February 22, 1969. He was born to Winifred and Derek Jordan, who emigrated from England in 1958. Todd was a 1000-point basketball player when he graduated from Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut, in 1987.
He continued his education at the University of Connecticut, where in 1991 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Later, he enrolled at the University of Chicago, where in 1996 he earned a Master of Business Administration degree Summa Cum Laude.
Todd started working at Price Waterhouse in Hartford as a CPA. He started working as an equity analyst at Raymond James in Tampa, Florida, after receiving his MBA. He joined Hedgeye Risk Management, a start-up investment research firm, in 2008 and assumed leadership of the company’s Gaming, Lodging & Leisure unit in addition to acting as Chief Financial Officer.
His outstanding work ethic, emotionally astute leadership and sharp analytical intellect all contributed to leaving a lasting legacy there. Todd was an ardent supporter of both UConn women’s and men’s basketball teams and he had a legendary affection for the Buffalo Bills.
He loved to travel, cook amazing Sunday dinners, win and dine with friends, go on long bike rides, listen to music and spend time at the family’s cherished lake property in Winsted, Connecticut.

In 1988, while enrolled at the University of Connecticut, Todd met Marybeth, the love of his life. On May 28, 1994, they tied the knot in Worcester, Massachusetts. Todd and Marybeth had decades of exciting experiences with their beloved dogs, Rosie, Dagny and Fiona and their two children, Tess and Derek. Richard Curran, Todd’s father-in-law, and Derek Jordan, his father, both passed away before him.
His mother Winifred Jordan, his sister and husband Victoria and Bruce Butler, his sister and husband Tina and Michael Weiss, his mother-in-law Ann Curran, his sister-in-law Kathy and husband Bob McSweeney, his sister-in-law Shelly and husband Keith Bedrossian, 13 nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins in the United Kingdom, as well as many cherished friends and colleagues survive him.
Todd was devoted to his family and the best support system for his kids’ scholastic and sports endeavors. Todd’s face lit up with joy as he talked about his family; he was incredibly proud to see his kids develop into kind, energetic, accomplished young adults.
