Berserk of Gluttony became a big hit in the winter 2023 anime season. The action fantasy series, adapted from Ichika Isshiki’s manga and light novels, has a straightforward story that becomes exciting with awesome fights and characters you can root for.
The first season, consisting of 12 episodes, concluded in December. Now, fans are curious about what will happen to Fate and Roxy in the future. Although Berserk of Gluttony season two hasn’t been officially announced, here’s what we might anticipate if the show makes a comeback.
Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 Release Date
There’s no official confirmation for Berserk of Gluttony season two yet, but because the show did well, we’ll probably get another season. If it does happen, predicting when it will come out is a bit tricky—the first season covered manga volumes 1-6, with about two episodes per volume. Right now, that’s all the manga available.
Keep in mind the Berserk of Gluttony manga is based on an ongoing light novel series and only the first three volumes have been turned into comics. There’s a lot of source material, but it’s doubtful the anime will catch up to the manga. So, it’s unlikely we’ll see the show return before 2025.

We’re not sure if the original studio ACGT or director Tetsuya Yanagisawa will still be part of it, depending on when and if the show comes back.
Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 Plot
In the first season of Berserk of Gluttony, they covered the story from volumes one to six of the manga and about three volumes of the light novel series. The last episode of the season had exciting scenes between Fate and the new character Envy. What comes next in the story?
The author, Ichika Isshiki, has written a total of eight light novel volumes, so fans who are curious about what happens next can keep reading. The official description for volume four says:
“Blessed with new power after his trials in Galia, Fate returns to Seifort. He intends to wield his influence to uplift the downtrodden – those forsaken by the world for their ‘unnecessary’ skills. But standing in his way are his cruel old employers, the powerful Vlerick family. Now, to save the soul of Seifort, Fate must expose the terrifying truth hidden within the Vlerick estate.”
