Has Jenni Rivera Autopsy Report Revealed?
As of yet, it is not officially confirmed what was found in Jenni Rivera’s autopsy reports. However, it is known that early on December 9, 2012, Rivera lost her life in an airplane accident when she was riding with other passengers in the Learjet 25.
The plane crashed close to Monterrey, Mexico. The night before, she was in town for a performance at Monterrey Arena. She held a press conference after the show and then on December 9, at around 3:20 a.m. local time, she, four other staff members and two pilots took off from Monterrey Airport to fly to Toluca, Mexico, for an appearance on La Voz… México.
Around 15 minutes later, contact with the jet was lost and later in the day, its wreckage was found near Iturbide, Nuevo León. Among the five passengers and two crew members on board, there were no survivors.
At a speed of about 1,000 mph (1,600 km/h), the aircraft nosedived and crashed to the ground, entirely disintegrating. The flight recorder was destroyed in the impact and the cockpit voice recorder was never located. “Loss of control of the aircraft for undetermined reasons” was listed as the probable cause.
The Mexican government’s inquiry which was aided by the National Transportation Safety Board of the United States as is customary when an American aircraft or American citizen is on board was closed in December 2014 without a cause for the accident being identified.
