“We are greatly saddened by the sudden passing of our friend, Brooke Gomez, a light that shined brilliantly on everyone who knew her. A gathering of friends to celebrate her life is being planned. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.”

A Closer Look at Brooke Gomez’s Life
Gomez owned a well-known interior design firm. She collaborated with her mother, renowned interior designer Mariette Himes Gomez, early in her career. On her website, she listed celebrities like Sigourney Weaver, Michael J. Fox, and Bethenny Frankel as clients.
She was even spotted working on Frankel’s Tribeca loft in Bravo’s second season of Bethenny Ever After. Gomez attended Brown University to study political science after growing up in New York. She stated on the company website that she has always been drawn to the design industry. She said in her bio:
“I did take quite a few Art History classes. Growing up, my brother and I were constantly surrounded by art and art appreciation. And like my mother, I consider the art selection process and integral and essential aspect of design.”
The website claimed that she had a strong sense of passion for what she did. She said:
