The accident happened after a car ran a red light and struck another vehicle in Houston. According to the University of Houston, there were five other people who died in the crash and the two victims’ names are Zachary McMillian and Ralph Oragwu. Below we provided a post related to his accident:

Assistant Chief Megan Howard said that around 2 a.m., Houston police were called to a “major crash” near Fannin and Pierce streets. Howard said that of the six victims, there were five men and one woman and four of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that a black Chrysler 300 going at a high rate of speed ran a red light and hit a black Acura SUV that was driving south on Fannin Street. The Acura was going through the crossing at Pierce Street while there was a green light.
Multiple people in the vehicles were thrown out when the two cars hit each other. Police said that the three people in the Acura may have been thrown out and that two of them died at the scene.
A third victim who was fatally struck when the Chrysler left the roadway and went onto the sidewalk was believed to be homeless. A fourth person died at the scene and it was the driver of the Chrysler. Howard said that the police didn’t know who was driving the Acura.
Howard said that a woman was in critical condition with injuries that could kill her. As of yet, this much information is available related to this accident and D. J. Hayden’s death.
