In a social media video (provided below), 34-year-old Joe assisted Molly Lopresti, the band’s percussionist and her fiancé, Nick Shirm, in saying “I do.” He also talked about how he came to be the couple’s wedding officiant.

He informed the audience that Molly gave the group an explanation:
“Look, I’d love to go on tour with you guys, but the only problem is I’m supposed to get married to my fiancé, Nick.”
Joe added, referring to himself:
“We said, ‘Let’s figure this out, we gotta help them out in some way. If only we knew an ordained minister on this tour,’ Oh wait, [we do].”
Before the singer could say “I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the crowd erupted in cheers. For the couple’s first dance, the brothers sang “When You Look Me in the Eyes.”
