Ronnie’s arrest in April 2021 stemmed from an incident involving his then-girlfriend Saffire Mattos and domestic violence. When the argument between Ronnie and Saffire at his Los Angeles home escalated into violence, the police were summoned.
Ronnie was arrested but later freed from custody. After his arrest, he was released without charges, but his actions nonetheless led to him being asked to leave Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6. In order to take care of his mental health, Ronnie said he would be taking time off from filmmaking.
What Happened with Ron from Jersey Shore?
Popular Jersey Shore cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro recently made an emotional return to the program after being off for two seasons. Ronnie cried as he apologized to his old roommates on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. After leaving the program to get help for his mental health, he came back with a sincere sense of regret and a determination to make apologies.

His housemates were moved by his sincere apologies, and this included Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio. During his time away from the program, Ronnie had been working on himself. He also won full legal responsibility for his daughter Ariana, now five. Ronnie’s homecoming was a dramatic turning point in the show because of his sincere attempt to mend fences with his roommates and win back their confidence.

Ronnie Is Eager To Catch Up With His Old Hosts From The Jersey Shore
The housemates from Jersey Shore have been all across the United States filming this season. Although Ronnie will not be appearing in the forthcoming season, he did appear in a brief episode alongside Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino during the fifth season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
During their brief conversation, Ronnie did acknowledge that he had wished to have a word with his roommates. Since leaving the show, Ronnie is likely not to have kept in touch with the other actors. Ronnie told The Situation in season 6 that he wanted to come back to the program. Michael looked uncertain.

While Ronnie did not appear in the most recent trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6, he may make a brief appearance at some point to chat with the other housemates. So far, he has just told The Situation that he misses it and that he is “ready” to come back. While this is theoretically feasible, it seems highly unlikely that Ronnie will once again be a regular on the show’s set. On MTV, you can catch Jersey Shore: Family Vacation every Thursday night at 8 p.m.
