Walker’s acting career began in Montreal in 1996-1997 as a recurrent lead on the show Student Bodies, followed by a series lead on Back to Sherwood and then Radio Active. He landed a series lead role on the TV series Maybe It’s Me a month after moving to Hollywood followed by Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
He worked on Wicked Minds, Adopted, Lies and Deception and then secured a recurring role on the short-lived ABC sitcom Hot Properties after signing a holding contract with Warner Bros. He portrayed a Neo-Nazi skinhead in the 2006 movie Steel Toes.
He was honored for his portrayal with the 2008 ACTRA Award for Best Actor as well as the 2006 Phillip Borsos Award at the Whistler Film Festival. Walker had an appearance in the 2007 Lifetime movie Abducted: Fugitive For Love.
He appeared as a special guest in the Fox comedy series Sons of Tucson, the spaghetti western movie The Gundown and the movie Dug Up all. Walker worked as a series regular on Lifetime’s cop drama Against the Wall, which was canceled in December 2011 after thirteen episodes and he made four documentaries and reality TV shows in 2011.
Walker appeared in the Canadian western “The Mountie”. He and Arielle Kebbel co-starred in his debut Hallmark Channel film, A Bride for Christmas in 2012. In 2016, he co-starred with Nikki DeLoach in his subsequent Hallmark film, A Dream of Christmas.
