Russ Francis Has Passed Away
Francis died on October 1, 2023, when his jet went down in the mountains near Lake Placid, New York. A man in his seventies. After taking off from Lake Placid Airport, Francis and Richard McSpadden’s Cessna 177 “experienced an emergency after takeoff.”
