American anchor-correspondent Felicia Rodrica Sturt Taylor worked for CNN International’s World Business Today and provided content for CNN’s Business Updates division. Up until November 2009, she co-hosted Retirement Living TV’s Daily Cafe.

We are deeply saddened to share with you that she passed away on September 8, 2023. She was 59 years old at the time of death. The main cause of her death is not yet confirmed.
Her demise signalled the conclusion of an extraordinary journey, leaving a lasting legacy that goes beyond journalism and into the hearts of everyone she touched. Christine Finch Oleynick posted, “Heartbroken by the news of my dear old friend Felicia Taylor.”
Fern Mallis wrote, “So sad to learn of Taylor’s passing in her sleep. She was a terrific broadcast journalist for CNN and was a friend to so many.”
She was the daughter of actor Rod Taylor and was born on August 28, 1964, in Los Angeles. She received a bachelor’s in English from Northwestern University after graduating from Milton Academy.
Following in her family’s footsteps, Ms. Taylor entered the film industry and produced the acclaimed “Far From Home,” a documentary examining the impact of climate change on the people of Senegal, particularly its children.
Prior to this, Ms. Taylor worked as a business correspondent for CNN and CNBC cable networks and a weekend anchor for WNBC in New York.
Taylor wed bond dealer Charles Beall Schuster on March 25, 1995. They separated later. She wed Peter Gottsegen in November 2021. Gottsegen is the founder of CAI Private Equity and a former general partner of Salomon Brothers.
