How did the Incident Happen?
Dustin Moyer, a 26-year-old resident of Ruscombmanor Township, perished in a collision and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Around 12:14 a.m. on a Friday, August 25, 2023, a sad occurrence involving Dustin Moyer occurred on Basket Road.
Todd Kegerise, a deputy coroner for Berks County verified Moyer’s demise at the scene of the collision in the 500 block of Basket Road. It was determined that many injuries were the cause of death and that it was an accident.
According to Fleetwood police, who are in charge of ensuring Ruscombmanor’s safety, Moyer had trouble managing his car while he was travelling south, which led to the vehicle rolling over.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t fastened in at the moment and as a result, he was partially flung from the car and pinned under it because he wasn’t using a seat belt. For nearly three hours, the road had to be closed so that the police could look into the event.
All those who had the honour of knowing him during his lifetime are saddened by his passing. Tami Bennecoff wrote a sincere Facebook post in which she shared her intense feelings, saying, “I cannot come up with the words to express how I feel about life currently.”
Steve Doyne said, “Rest in peace Dustin Moyer.”
Isaiah Robinson wrote, “A great guy gone to soon, Rest easy Dustin Moyer.”
Morgan Hillegas wrote in a post, “A friendship that never could have been broken. We love you so much Dustin Moyer. I can not believe you are gone.”
