Jochen Goetz entered the world on April 6, 1971, in Rastatt, Germany. After finishing high school in Gaggenau and undergoing industrial clerk training at what was then Mercedes-Benz AG, he attended the Administration and Economics Academy in Karlsruhe from 1994 to 1998, where he earned a VWA business economist degree.
Jochen Goetz has been in charge of information technology, non-production products and services procurement, finance, and controlling at Daimler Truck Holding AG since July 12, 2021. In addition, he is a member of the management board at Daimler Truck AG.

For the entirety of his 36-year career, Jochen Goetz was employed by the Daimler Group. In December 2021, he played a crucial part in the successful separation of Daimler Truck Holding from what is now the Mercedes-Benz Group.
