Simon Cowell “breaks the rules” for an “amazing” dance act on Britain’s Got Talent. Simon Cowell “broke the rules” on Britain’s Got Talent when he gave a dance group a golden buzzer even though they had already used all of theirs.
When the judge, who is 63 years old, hit the buzzer at the end of Unity’s act on the Sunday night show, he shocked everyone watching. Simon has given the dance group, which is made up of college friends, a spot in the live shows.
Unity did a moving dance that showed what makes each person different. The audience gave them a standing ovation and cheered for the judges to hit the golden buzzer. Bruno Tonioli said –
“You can be anything you want and anyone you want to be.
“The message is loud and clear. The execution, artistically, your choreography was superb.”
“It really is a fantastic performance at every level. I have goosebumps that’s all I can say.”
As you may know, Emma Heming Willis recently updated followers on her husband Bruce Willis’s difficult battle with dementia. Rumer Willis, who is 34 years old, said earlier this year that her father was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia:
Amanda was interrupted by the amount of applause from the audience as Dec stated, “The audience want a gold but there aren’t any golds left.” Ant quipped, “Bruno will push it anyway.” Bruno told Unity, “I have already done it twice, I can’t do anymore.”
Whilst Amanda gave her opinion –
“For me it was such a beautiful and passionate piece, the message was so strong.”
“Everything that you stand for, all your personalities and the love that you have for each other, all the characters involved in this group.”
“All of that made this such an amazing and special piece. It was beautiful.”
Simon added –
“I actually thought that was astonishing, the way that you got your message across was so strong.”
“It was an audition I will never forget. What you have done, you have done it your way. Look, we don’t have any golden buzzers left.”
Unity were shocked when glitter started falling all around them. “Can we get another one now?” asked Ant. Viewers at home were also surprised by Simon’s move.
One said –
“So happy they got the golden buzzer, they were so brave and inspiring.”
Someone else wrote –
“IM NOT CRYING, YOU ARE.”
Someone else said, “Oh my god, these college kids’ BGT performance is making me CRY,” and a fourth raved, “I loved how they used the dance to tell their own stories one by one. Just amazing!”
“I loved Unity… really good. Brilliant performances with a great message. They deserve to do well on this show. I’m glad Simon Cowell pressed his golden buzzer again for them. Just brilliant,” praised another.
