After her breakup with Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift is currently in a relationship with Matty Healy, the lead singer of 1975. It’s been said that the new pair is prepared to publicly announce their relationship this weekend at Taylor Swift’s forthcoming Era’s Tour concert in Nashville.
It happens a month after it was made public that US singer-songwriter Taylor and actor Joe Alwyn had called it quits after six years of relationship. A close friend of Taylor’s said, according to sources:
“She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first in a relationship, very briefly almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out. Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.
“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
The two international megastars, however, are immensely supportive of one another’s careers and are the best at understanding the demands of one another’s employment. They are both quite happy and proud of their relationship and unlike Taylor’s last one, which was purposefully kept under wraps, she wants to ‘own’ this romance rather than conceal it.
Taylor only wants to enjoy herself and live her life. She has informed friends that Matty will be joining her for the next leg of her tour in Nashville this weekend. Taylor and Matty have spent a lot of time Face-Timing and messaging lately because they have both been on tour, but she is so excited to see him again.
The insider further stated that in contrast to Swift and Alwyn’s intensely private relationship, the new pair wants to ‘own’ this romance and not hide it away. The frontman of 1975, Matty Healy and the “All Too Well” singer are ready to go public with their relationship at Taylor’s “The Eras” event in Nashville, Tennessee.
