The follow-up to 2022’s “Come Home the Kids Miss You,” “Jackman,” by Jack Harlow, will be released on April 28 via Generation Now and Atlantic Records. The album’s name and release date were announced on Wednesday morning along with the cover image, which features a shirtless Harlow standing solemnly in a neighborhood alleyway.
No other details about “Jackman” (Harlow’s first name), the track list, or the features were made public at the time this story was published. His last performance featured guest verses from Pharrell Williams, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Justin Timberlake, among others.
In “White Men Can’t Jump,” which begins streaming on Hulu on May 19, the Grammy-nominated rapper and Variety Hitmakers cover star will also make his acting debut. The movie is a remake of the 1992 sports comedy starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. With a story written by “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris and Doug Hall, Harlow will star in the new film directed by Calmatic and starring Sinqua Walls.
In a conversation with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1, Harlow discussed the work he went into getting the part. I invested the time in the script. During the audition, I tried to be ego-free, take notes, and do what I needed to do,” he said. “All I want to do is kill it. I simply want to be good and will do everything within my power to achieve this.
