Mark Sheehan the guitarist for The Script passed away on Friday night, the band announced. He was 46. The Dublin-based rock band said Mark had dἰed from an illness.
They said on instagram post: “Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time.”

Mark Anthony Sheehan entered the world on October 29, 1976, in Dublin, Ireland, in a neighborhood called The Liberties. He was an Irish musician who played guitar, sang, wrote songs, and produced music.
He previously performed with the Irish boyband Mytown before joining The Script in 2001. Mark co-founded the band The Script and played guitar for them.
With massive successes including “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “For the First Time,” “We Cry,” and “Hall of Fame,” The Script have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
