YouTuber Chris Tyson who is frequently seen in tandem with MrBeast has admitted they had begun taking h0rmone replacement medication.
This past week, the 26-year-old who uses “any pronouns” in their Twitter bio announced that they had started the procedures two months prior. The Cleveland Clinic claims that HRT can assist persons who don’t identify with a particular gender present as more traditionally masculine or feminine.
“Informed consent HRT saved my and many others’ lives,” Tyson wrote. “The hurdles [gender nonconforming] people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies.”
MrBeast — whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson — quickly responded to his friend’s announcement by tweeting “Gotchu.”
Tyson, looking back at an earlier photo of themselves, said that they were pleased with the way their hairline and facial shape have changed after starting HRT.
Tyson remarked, “I can’t believe how much body positivity I’ve experienced in just two months.”
Tyson has been documenting their progress through treatment by posting before and after pictures of themselves on Twitter. They went as far as to express their joy at the fact that their narrative is attracting the interest of others.
Because of their tweet, “I’m truly so thrilled so many people are discovering what HRT is and how it CAN and HAS benefitted so many people,” they added. I’ve always been very secretive about this, so coming out in the open about it was terrifying. Nevertheless, hearing people talk about similar experiences because of me is incredibly rewarding.

Tyson elaborated, saying, “That makes everything so worth it.” I can’t wait for more discussions like this with you guys in the future.
Tyson publicly acknowledged his bis*xuality in 2020. They mentioned that when they were 16 years old, they tried coming out but “received a lot of negative feedback from friends/family.”
Know that even if your current circle of friends and family doesn’t love and support you, you’ll always have Tyson and his followers’ undying devotion. Despite my wanting to elaborate on my experience of coming out as gay someday, I am still pretty private about it. The time has come when I can no longer keep quiet about it.
