Robyn Dixon is getting a break from Mia Thornton. Mia Thornton, the 38-year-old member of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” said on the Page Six podcast “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she “understands why” her castmate remained silent about husband Juan Dixon’s alleged affair while cameras rolled for Season 7.
Thornton said:
It’s a very touchy situation and they’re trying to figure things out. There’s a lot of pain, there’s a lot of hurt. Does she really want to talk about this on national television, especially if they’ve already moved forward? Probably not.

She continues:
Because what occurs is that it wakes up old scars. Well, I do understand. I can see why she just ignored it.
On their podcast “Reasonably Shady” Robyn and her best friend Gizelle Bryant explored the issue in January. The mother of two who has two sons, Corey and Carter with ex-NBA player Juan named admitted that she knew the player “communicated with this woman during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Some of Robyn’s fans were not happy that she didn’t address Juan’s alleged infidelity on the show itself, but rather on the “Reasonably Shady” Patreon website where Robyn gave additional details about the incident.
After receiving criticism from both viewers and other cast members, she sat down with “Housewives” executive producer Andy Cohen for an interview that will broadcast on the third and final leg of this year’s “RHOP” reunion. Although her sympathy for Robyn, Thornton wishes the Embellished CEO had addressed the problem during Season 7.
Thornton said:
Should it have been brought up? Sure, I think it should have. I’m pretty sure we’re going to have to talk about this soon and teasing that the drama might bleed into Season 8 when production resumes.
Thornton considers Robyn “my girl” so she probably would have liked a heads-up from her. She said:
I love her. It is so unfortunate because if I think about the cast and if you were to ask me, Who’s the realest of the bunch? I would say Robyn. So I’m disappointed to know that there was something she was dealing with that I didn’t know about. I’m like, What? Is this true? But other than that, I think…we should just be who we are: reality TV stars. The point is real, right? It’s R-E-A-L.”
The mother of three, who has a teenage son Joshua from a previous relationship in addition to her young children with spouse Gordon Thornton, Jeremiah and Juliana. She has recently become “mindful” of how the reality series might impact her kids.
