John Schneider’s wife, Alicia Allain died at the age of 53 due to breast cancer and he is in mourning. The star of “The Dukes of Hazzard” broke the news on his Facebook page on Wednesday (February 22, 2023). He attached pictures of Allain giving the thumbs up and of his hand clasped in hers.
The pain has left my beautiful Smile and she is now enjoying life in her new body with Jesus. He pleaded for privacy, saying
Please respect our privacy during this time of grief….give those you care about tight hugs and tell them how you truly feel. As we always have.
Early on Thursday(February 23, 2023) morning, Schneider posted another photo of him and Allain and wrote about his “unimaginable sorrow” and grief. My ambitions were propelled by Alicia and I will always be grateful to her for that.
The impetus for all original thought. It’s woven into the very fibers of my being. The 62-year-old former “Smallville” star referred to it as “the glue that held me together” in a second post.

The news that Allain had been diagnosed with stage 4 HER2-negative cancer over Memorial Day Weekend 2019 was announced on “Fox and Friends” in 2020.
Schneider said in the joint interview with Allain, “She was three years into a five-year shelf life.” The actress and producer went to a dermatologist after noticing a change in her skin and was told she had cancer.
