Keep your soccer balls safe (or footballs). We now have a release date for the third season of Ted Lasso to look forward to. On 14 Feb, a trailer was revealed for the third season of Ted Lasso, which will premiere on Apple TV Plus on Wednesday, March 15.
According to Apple, at the beginning of season 3, the members of the AFC Richmond soccer club are confronted with media predictions that their team will finish dead last in the Premier League. Talented former teammate turned foe Nate (Nick Mohammed) has taken a job at Ted Lasso’s archrival West Ham United. Richmond’s assistant coach and former captain Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) has moved on to a coaching role.
And what about Jason Sudeikis’s Ted Lasso, the American soccer coach and expat we all love so much? Lasso maintains his composure on the field, but back in the United States, he is battling some personal demons.
On Apple TV Plus, you may watch all 12 episodes of Season 3 every Wednesday, instead of waiting until Fridays as you did with the first two seasons.

Whether or whether season 3 will be Ted Lasso’s last is unknown at this time. In the summer of 2016, Goldstein stated that the writers were planning the episode as a farewell to the series. Warner Bros. Television, however, opted not to respond to the report at the time.
Season 1 became the most Emmy-nominated rookie comedy series in history, while season 2 won the most Emmys for a second year in a row, as stated in an official press release from Apple TV Plus. Check out the trailer for Ted Lesso 3 below:
