Vice President Kamal Harris to Attend Tyre Nichols’s Funeral will reach Memphis on Wednesday. Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church will be the place where Kamal Harris joins the funeral with other senior White House officials, including Keisha Lance Bottoms, senior adviser to the president for public engagement, Mitch Landrieu, senior adviser and infrastructure implementation coordinator and Tara Murray, deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement.
Ben Crump, a civil rights lawyer and attorney for Nichols’ family, said Nichols’ mother, RowVaughn Wells and stepfather, Rodney Wells talk to vice president Harris for more than 30 minutes about their son’s death.
“Tyre’s parents invited Vice President Harris to the funeral tomorrow and were pleased that she accepted their invitation,” Crump said in a statement. (as per the reports of Yahoo.com) Mr and Mrs Wells are grateful for Vice President Harris reaching out to them during this heartbreaking time and for her sensitivity on the call.
The Vice President expressed her deep condolences and offered the family support as they continue to navigate this challenging time. (according to the reports of Cnn.com)

Remember again if you forget again, on January 10 Nichols a 29-year black guy demines because of being brutely beaten by the police of Memphis. Five Memphis officers were fired regarding this case including several charges like murder, kidnapping, and second-degree murder.
Nichols’s beating video was also aired by the government, but before doing this President Biden talk to his parents and said, “yet another painful reminder of the profound fear and trauma, the pain and the exhaustion that Black and Brown Americans experience every single day.”

After watching the video and pictures Kamala Harris also shares her feelings, “will forever be seared in our memories, and they open wounds that will never fully heal.”
In the video which is prepared by the police body cameras and street cameras, officers tried to pull Nichols from his vehicle for reckless driving. Officers beating him continuously could be seen while he is restrained. She said, “Tyre Nichols should have made it home to his family. Yet, once again, America mourns the life of a son and father brutally cut short at the hands of those sworn to protect and serve.”

Although Congress made another policy to stop police violence after a case in 2020 of George Floyd’s death.
Mr Biden stated on policymakers to “do everything in our power to ensure our criminal justice system lives up to the promise of fair and impartial justice, equal treatment, and dignity for all.”
“Real and lasting change will only come if we take action to prevent tragedies like this from ever happening again,” he said.
Harris repeats the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, pass urgently to the president and Congress. She added, “The persistent issue of police misconduct and use of excessive force in America must end now.”
“To truly honour Tyre Nichols’ memory, and the memory of so many others before him, we must demand that our justice system lives up to its name,” she said Friday.
