Similar to the first series, which follows football players at the junior college level as they try to break into the big leagues, Last Chance U: Basketball Season 2 is coming to highlight what hardworking young men will do to advance their basketball careers.
Last Chance U: Basketball Season 2 is set at East Los Angeles College (ELAC), a small college located on the outskirts of Los Angeles, and includes an impressive roster of players. Although they all aim to play college basketball at Division I or II level, and some even have NBA aspirations, they will each have to overcome a unique set of challenges on the road to realizing that ambition. They’re lucky to have John Mosley back on the sidelines as a coach.

Coach John Mosley is the driving force behind the success of the ELAC basketball club. He acts as a role model for his athletes, guiding them toward personal and professional success. Many of his former players have gone on to play at Division I colleges like Sacramento State, Central Michigan University, and the University of Southern California thanks in large part to his coaching.
Season 2 continues the coach’s efforts to mold his team into the best version of themselves in preparation for future success. The new episodes apparently include Los Angeles Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue who shares some words of wisdom with the ELAC team, as evidenced by the teaser.
