In addition to shows such as Squid Game, Midnight Mass, and other horrifying Netflix shows, one of the streamer’s greatest hits has yet to return, and audiences eagerly await its return.
Stranger Things 4th season ended in September (via Screen Rant), despite the pandemic last year delaying production. Although only a snippet has been released, viewers are still unsure what may await Hawkins’ heroes, but fortunately, one of its own seems to have some insightful observations.
Finn Wolfhard, the Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Stranger Things hero, revealed what he knows about Season 4 on The Matt Wilkinson Show.
It will deal with the fallout from Season 3 when Hopper (David Harbour) disappeared and was presumed dead, and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and her friends left Hawkins. Wolfhard’s cryptic hints indicate that things are about to get even harsher but in the most positive way possible.
All About Stranger Things Season 4
Finn Wolfhard’s character, Mike Wheeler, said that they would keep their promises. The creators said, “This season is like really messed up, and it’s going to freak people out a lot.” One principal goal remains to capture our attention regardless of the twists and turns and resurrected characters.
It’s refreshing that [creators] the Duffer Brothers are doing things that people haven’t seen before in the show.” He continued, “Because if the show has been going for as long as it has, you want people to still care about it.”
We cannot see what Season 4 will bring for now, and that is the only major complaint. The return to Upside Down is scheduled for Netflix in 2022, but no specific date has been set.
