In Nightingale, your main goal is to find resources. You can find resources in many places, and one of the challenging ones is Coral. You’ll need to explore different realms to track it down.
Finding Coral in Nightingale isn’t a breeze. You’ve got to go to certain spots, and it’s not everywhere. But there are tricks to make it easier to find. That’s helpful because gathering Coral takes some effort. Here’s the scoop on getting Coral in Nightingale.
How to Find Coral in Nightingale?
To find Coral in Nightingale, swim in the ocean of any realm you explore using Realm Cards. Look for it near the surface, not too far from the shore. Once you see some Coral, swim out to it and stay above it. Then, tilt your camera down to face it, and you can collect it.
I found my first Coral patch by going straight to the ocean while in a Forest realm. In Nightingale, you can find Coral in different realms, but I suggest not looking for it in the Desert biome, although it might be there.

It’s easier to make a portal to the Forest or Swamp biomes to find it. There’s not much water in the Desert, and Coral wouldn’t survive well there.
You can find two kinds of Coral: Fleshy and Skeletal. They’re used for different things and might show up in different places depending on the Realm Power you choose in Nightingale. Here’s a list of all the types of Coral and where you might find them.
Fleshy Coral
- Desert Biome (Realm Power 1 to 158)
- Forest Biome (Realm Power 1 to 158)
- Swamp Biome (Realm Power 1 to 158)
Skeletal Coral
- Desert Biome (Realm Power 0 to 49)
- Swamp Biome (Realm Power 0 to 49)
What really surprises me is that you can find two kinds of coral in both the Desert and Swamp areas. In the Forest, you only get one type called Fleshy Coral.

I thought it would be the other way around, but Nightingale is full of surprises. Because there’s not much water in the Desert, it’s rare to find coral there, so you might have to explore a lot to find it in your randomly generated worlds.
