Hunting Grounds Coming To PS5 And Xbox Series
Predator: Hunting Grounds, a reimagining of the asymmetric multiplayer system used by IllFonic in games like Friday the 13th: The Game and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, was launched back in 2020. The game was strangely published by Sony exclusively for the PC and PS4 system.
The game kind of came and went without much fanfare, even with the big-name publisher, but it looks like IllFonic is getting ready to bring it back to life on current-generation platforms.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will now be released by IllFonic, who also stated that the game will be officially released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. In April, IllFonic will release an update that will concentrate on balance changes and other updates, paving the way for the arrival of the current-generation console ports later in 2024.

- In April 2024, Patch 2.49 will be available for Predator: Hunting Grounds on PS4 and PC (Steam/Epic). This update will improve player movement, rework and balance Fireteam weapons, balance Predator weapons, and enhance the overall user experience and playability. - By late 2024, Predator: Hunting Grounds will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. This release will focus on next-gen capabilities, running on the Unreal 4.27 engine, with features like Vivox and Wwise. Players can choose between a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition.
- In Winter 2024, expect to see new Predators added to the game.
- And in Spring 2025, even more new Predators will be introduced.
