When Was Talia Ryder Born?
Talia Ryder was born in Buffalo, New York, U.S., on August 16, 2002. Talia completed her high school education in 2020. At the age of 12, Ryder accompanied her family to watch the Broadway performance of Matilda the Musical.
This experience motivated both Ryder and her sister Mimi to try out for roles in the production. Talia successfully secured the part of Hortensia, prompting her family to relocate to New York City. Subsequently, Ryder began honing her talents in stage acting.

In 2016, she joined a group of 75 children for the short film “Broadway Kids Against Bullying: I Have a Voice,” helmed by director Jason Milstein. The film featured a charity single by Frank Wildhorn aimed at supporting Nobully.org. Three years later, she secured a role as Skylar, Autumn’s cousin, in the independent film “Never Rarely Sometimes Always.”
The movie follows the journey of two girls traveling to New York City so that Autumn (portrayed by Sidney Flanigan) can undergo an abortion without parental consent. Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, “Never Rarely Sometimes Always” was subsequently released in theaters and through video on demand in March 2020.
In 2019, she joined the Jets Chorus in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story adaptation. By 2021, she took the lead in Olivia Rodrigo’s “Deja Vu” music video.
