Collier Landry is a multifaceted artist renowned for his cinematography, podcast hosting, and documentary filmmaking. His most notable work, “A Murder in Mansfield,” directed by Barbara Kopple, delves into his traumatic childhood experience—the premeditated murder of his mother by his father.
Recently, his fans have shown interest in his personal life, mainly wanting to know about his family, especially his sister. In this post, we will provide information related to his family.
Who is Collier Landry Sister?
Collier Landry has a complex family history deeply entangled with tragedy. His sister, Elizabeth, was adopted by the Boyles when she was a toddler. Sadly, she was just three years old when their father murdered their mother.
This harrowing event led to Elizabeth being adopted by another family, which preferred that the siblings not stay in contact. Despite the efforts to reconnect, Collier Landry has not been in communication with Elizabeth for many years.
He attempted to reach out to her during the production of “A Murder In Mansfield”, a documentary detailing his mother’s murder and its aftermath but was unsuccessful in making contact.
In addition to Elizabeth, Collier has a half-sister, the daughter of his father, Jack, and Jack’s girlfriend, Sherri. This half-sister’s situation is particularly sensitive, largely because of her mother’s reluctance to participate in any public discourse surrounding the case.
Despite these challenges, Collier was able to speak to his half-sister about the project, but she was hesitant about participating due to her mother’s wishes.
