Basically, Pacific Drive is a survival game where you gather lots of different materials. You’ll need somewhere to keep all your stuff while you’re out exploring. Luckily, there are spots in the garage where you can store things, like yellow lockers where you’ll find alternative car parts. Those are okay, but the Transfer Trunk is what you should focus on.
The Transfer Trunk is like a big box that’s really important for storing stuff in Pacific Drive. It’s as important as your car and your avatar. You can move it around easily and put lots of things inside.
When you collect a bunch of resources, you can put them in the trunk, then take it to your car, unload everything, and put the trunk back where it was. Additionally, you can use the stuff in the trunk with your crafting benches whenever you need them. But how do you get one?
How to Get the Transfer Trunk in Pacific Drive?
After a few practice runs near the end of the tutorial on Pacific Drive, you’ll find the Transfer Trunk waiting for you in the garage. It’s one of the rewards that pops out of the strange garbage bin. You can’t really miss it since it’s a big, noticeable box.

However, if you lose the Transfer Trunk, look in the back rooms of the garage. There’s a Shop-Vac there that can suck up anything dropped on the floor while you work. After it cleans up, the Vac will put your Transfer Trunk back on a pedestal nearby, with all your stuff safe inside.

Even though the Transfer Trunk is important, you can make your storage better later. With the Research Station, you can make big upgrades to your garage, car, and character inventories. We suggest you do this early on. But still, the Transfer Trunk is useful all the way through the game, no matter how much you upgrade your stuff.
