Who is Shou Zi Chew’s Wife?
Vivian Kao is the life partner of Shou Zi Chew. Shou Zi Chew met Vivian Kao in 2008. The duo were both studying at Harvard Business School when their relationship blossomed. While it’s unclear when exactly the two got married, the couple have been together for over 15 years.
In a November 13, 2020 interview with Harvard Business School Alumni, the couple disclosed that they both still harbor deep memories of their time spent at Harvard. Kao said, “HBS [Harvard Business School] is what we have in common…”
Chew added, “We are grateful for what HBS has done for us, and we want to provide more opportunities for future generations.”
What is Vivian Kao’s Profession?
Vivian Kao is of Taiwanese descent. She is an investor, businesswoman and financial expert. She was born in Virginia in 1984. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Chinese Studies from Wellesley College in 2004.
Her LinkedIn profile reveals she is an independent non-executive director at Sun Hung Kai & Co, an investment company headquartered in Hong Kong. She graduated from Harvard Business School in 2010 with an MBA, just as Chew.
After that, Kao worked as the general manager of Chope, a platform for reserving reservations at restaurants in real time. She was appointed chief growth officer of WeLab, the top fintech business in Asia in 2013.
