Another month, yet another collection of films and television series bid goodbye to Netflix. The number of departures this month isn’t very large, but there are a good number of well-liked reality TV shows and highly regarded films making their way to the largest streaming service in the sky.
When is Dune Leaving Netflix?
On February 29, 2024, Dune is leaving Netflix right before the theatrical release of Part Two, giving subs one last chance to watch (or rewatch) it ahead of the long-anticipated sequel.
The distributor of a highly anticipated blockbuster sequel is planning to remove the first film from subscription streamers to obtain the lucrative à la carte rental revenue. The film is soon to hit theaters.
Before “Dune: Part Two” opens in theaters on March 1, see “Dune: Part One” (which isn’t the official title, but is the accurate one) on Netflix the day before. Don’t miss it. With a fitting balance of solemnity and spectacle, Denis Villeneuve directs the film which stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and Zendaya.
