Jessica had been posting updates about her cancer experience on TikTok and thanking Jenna Marbles for her life’s great influence. On February 20, Jessica uploaded a video expressing her admiration for Jenna Marbles. She said:
“I have terminal cancer, and I don’t have a lot of time left, and I wanted to share with her how she touched my life. She was one of the people that I tuned into to see every week on YouTube, she was so herself, she made my life better.”
Jenna Marbles sent Jessica a heartfelt care package that included signed photos, notes and special “Dink Fam” apparel. Jessica proudly displayed the present which contained a pair of pins, a mug, a shirt and a signed photo of the couple.
Jessica expressed her admiration and gratitude for Jenna Marbles’ role in improving her life in a video. “I’m so happy, thank you so much!” the TikToker wrote in response to Jenna’s gifts.
