Is Lala Kent Pregnant?
Lala Kent is in the process of becoming a mother of her second child. Lala Kent has been transparent about her infertility experience and the reason behind her self-initiated second child.
The “Vanderpump Rules” actress disclosed in an interview with Cosmopolitan released on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, that she is conceiving her second child through intrauterine insemination (IUI), a fertility procedure that increases the likelihood of conception by injecting specifically prepared sperm into the uterus.

She clarified that although some of her friends had followed the IUI path. She said, “they were all in regular, normal—I call them cookie-cutter—relationships.” She continued:
“And when I had my life go in a very different direction, I knew I wanted more kids. It was such a strange thing that was happening because everyone would tell me, ‘You’re going to find somebody.’ And I got to thinking, Why does my wanting more children need to involve another person? I think if there’s a will, there’s a way. I knew a donor was an option, and I knew IUI was an option.”
She told the magazine disclosing the stage of her fertility journey that she is now in that she is tracking her periods and ovulation days and she is in close connection with her fertility specialist. She continued:
“We’ve got all our ducks in a row. The donor is secured, which I’m super excited about, It took a really long time to find the donor…It’s like you’re shopping for your partner but only to have a child, so there’s a lot that goes into it.”
Kent also mentioned that one of her objectives in going through the procedure is to remove the stigma associated with males who donate their sperm and women who receive donor services. She explained:
“I feel like you think of a sperm donor and you’re like, ‘Oh, they were hard up for cash.’ I get emotional talking about it because this donor has changed my life. These men who come in and donate, whatever the reason, are giving these people the greatest gift.”
She talked about the advice she would provide to other ladies thinking about taking the same path to become pregnant, saying, “I would highly recommend it.” She added:
“If you want children and are only waiting for ‘that person’ to come into your life, let’s talk about a different route that we can take. It’s 2024! There are many ways to have a baby, and you don’t need a man to do it.”
