Born on January 7, 1997, Lamar Demeatrice Jackson Jr. is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). In his second season, he won the Heisman Trophy while playing college football for the Louisville Cardinals.

The Ravens picked him with their final first-round choice in the 2018 NFL Draft. After incumbent quarterback Joe Flacco was injured during his rookie season, Jackson took over as the starting quarterback for the Ravens. With the club, he won a division title and at age 21, he also became the youngest NFL quarterback to start a playoff game.
