Wyatt’s early years were marked by a vibrant involvement in sports and an enthusiasm for life that endeared him to many.

How Did Wyatt Fowler Die?

Tragically, Wyatt Fowler’s life was cut short in a car accident. On December 30, 2023, Wyatt, then 15, was a passenger in a 2016 Chevrolet Impala that lost control and crashed on Brandermill Parkway near the intersection of Barnes Spring Road.

His family really loved Wyatt. His mom is Amy Fowler, his dad is Brian Fowler, and he also has a stepmom named Katie Fowler. Wyatt had a little sister named Avery Fowler and a stepsister named Marina Turner.

He was the first grandchild on both sides of his family, and his grandparents, Roy and Judie Hinton and Carroll and Sue Fowler, loved him a lot. His aunts, uncles, and cousins also cared about him. Wyatt was known for being kind-hearted, with a gentle soul and a warm smile that lit up his sparkling blue eyes.

Wyatt Fowler, a student at Midlothian High School, was loved by everyone and really good at sports. He has played soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and golf since he was little.

Football was his standout sport, and he even started playing for the Midlothian High School Junior Varsity Football Team in eighth grade. He kept playing through his freshman and sophomore years.

Wyatt also loved lacrosse and played on the Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team in the spring. Sports were a big part of his life, and he was proud to be part of the Midlothian Athletics family.

Wyatt Fowler Memorial and Tributes

Wyatt Fowler’s family welcomed friends and well-wishers on January 4, 2024, at Woody Funeral Home in Midlothian, Virginia. A memorial service took place on January 5 at Hope Church in Richmond, Virginia.

The family suggested people wear something comfortable or meaningful to remember Wyatt. Instead of flowers, they asked for donations to go to the Midlothian Athletic Booster Association at Midlothian High School.
