At What Age Did Ted Parker Die?
Ted Parker, a well-known name in North Carolina and the former owner of Ted Parker Home Sales of Lumberton, has died. He died at his home in Calabash at the age of 71 years.
Marty Wright a friend and former coworker of Parker’s who kept in touch with him said that Parker had experienced health problems in recent years. Parker leaves behind two kids, Chris and Chandra, as well as his wife, Vickie.

Which Work Did Ted Parker Do in His Life?
Parker was a former mobile home tycoon who earned millions selling prefabricated houses. Those who watched local TV in the 1980s and 1990s and resided in the Southeast of North Carolina were likely familiar with his television commercials.
He was also well-known for having formerly owned the expansive 13,000-square-foot Ted Parker Mansion located in Lumberton on N.C. 72. The house was eventually sold to Chinese investors and stands on 115 acres of land.
Parker was raised by tobacco growers as their son. Parker worked for Bonanza Homes of Lumberton before starting his own mobile home company. He started his own mobile home business in 1980. Brewington began his career as a salesperson and advanced to become Parker’s sales manager.
In 1998, he would sell the company to General Electric and the financial group Ardshiel, which is connected to GE. Parker made a career shift and began working as a land developer, creating coastal communities.
