When Did Tarver Braddock Die?
Tarver Braddock passed away on January 5, 2024, at the young age of 16. His maternal grandpa, William Lindsey Husted, III (Papa) and grandmother, Deborah Hamilton Pope (Honey) predeceased him.
Where Was Tarver Braddock’s Funeral Services Held?
Funeral services celebrating and honoring Tarver’s life was held at noon on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Rev. R. B. Moore officiating. Private family graveside services was at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.

A Look at the Life of Tarver Braddock
Lindsey Husted Braddock and Brett Tarver Braddock welcomed their son Tarver Mickel Braddock into the world on April 4, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana. Tarver was a junior at Neville High School and had previously attended Lexington, Sallie Humble and Neville Junior High.
He belonged to the Student Council, Renaissance and Interact Club. He had a great time participating in Neville’s shop program. Additionally, he participated in Neville Baseball, where he most recently enjoyed leading the left field lounge.
He took great satisfaction in having the most drip on the Neville Football Team. He attended and assisted in planning an adolescent retreat at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Tarver cherished his involvement with Young Life as well.
Making others laugh was his greatest passion in life. He had a unique grin and charisma. He was constantly eager to entertain and brightened every space. Tarver made a special effort to provide joy to others. He had an impeccable work ethic and took great pleasure in “doing projects.”
He enjoyed being outside and going hunting and fishing. He loved to hate the boat and he spent countless hours on it. He was happiest when he was around his family. Tarver looked after and protected his sister Stella well, despite his younger age. Tarver’s laugh, grin and unique personality will always be cherished in our hearts and memories.
