As the oldest of his three siblings, Flueger was born in Red Wing, Minnesota. He graduated in 2002 from Red Wing High School. Flueger’s first noteworthy performance was in The Princess Diaries, a Disney movie. A number of TV appearances ensued including roles in JAG, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and CSI: Miami.
Afterwards, he was cast as Shawn Farrell in the 2004–07 USA Network series The 4400. Flueger, who was still working on The 4400, was cast as Rusty in Anthony Hopkins’ movie The World’s Fastest Indian. Alongside Antony Starr, Flueger featured in The World’s Fastest Indian.
