Smiley was the host of BET’s ComicView in 2000. He’s been on shows like Showtime at the Apollo, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, HBO’s Snaps, The Nashville Network, Uptown Comedy Club, and Comic Escape.
In his comedy, he often pretends to be characters like “Bernice Jenkins,” also known as Granny Swims, Ms. Johnson, or Mrs. Francis. He has other characters like “Lil’ Daryl,” “Rusty Dale,” and “Beauford.”
