Who is McKenna Grace’s Parents?
McKenna Grace is the sole child of orthopedic physician Ross Burge and medical sales manager Crystal Grace. She grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In addition to cheering, gymnastics, tap, ballet and cheerleading, she also competed in beauty pageants, winning the title of “Tiny Miss Texas”.
Grace has always been homeschooled and has had tutors on set; she has never attended a traditional school. In 2021, she enrolled in a media aesthetics college course, where she was required to write about The Handmaid’s Tale on multiple occasions without mentioning her own work on the show.
When Grace was four years old, her great-grandmother gave her a collection of Shirley Temple DVD films which sparked her passion for acting. Grace’s acting instructor, Morgan Fairchild’s sister, suggested that she sign with a representative.
At the age of five, Grace landed her first role in a commercial. Later, her agency suggested that she go to Los Angeles, California, to see if she might get parts in TV series and movies. Following Grace’s successful casting in Crash & Bernstein and Goodbye World, her father relocated to Ventura and the family took up residence in the city.
